It’s a lot of hard work building a business, and the competition is tough. Even startups that don’t make it into the Top 5 Final Final benefit from having been a part of the contest. Congratulations, you’ve got a business plan, and a ton of advice to boot! A completed business plan and a solid trajectory to starting your business is nothing to scoff at. It’s a lot of fun to be a part of the LASP family. The sense of community, the contacts you build, and the experience you gain through building your startup are all invaluable parts of participating.
Present to Investors
Startups that make it into the Top 5 Final Final will have the opportunity to present, behind closed doors, to the panel of Startup Prize Investor Judges and have a chance to win the grand prize! If you are from out of town, you’ll be given accommodations and treated like a VIP all weekend.
Startup Prize Coliseum
Startups that make it into the Top 5 Final Final will also be invited to participate in the Startup Prize Coliseum. This public pitch contest, which takes place during Final Final weekend, allows everyday citizens to vote with their dollar and put cash in your wallet to help you and your venture.
